Dear Pro-Life Friends,
Forty one years ago on January 22, 1972 in the greatest abuse of judicial activism by the Supreme court, a woman’s right to kill her unborn child became a law of the land. Abortion found a place in American life and soon spread throughout the world.
A year earlier, while abortion was being debated at the state level a group of concerned women in Naples banded together to from “Right To Life”. In 1973, RTL incorporated as Action For Life dba/The Naples Pro-Life Council.
The battle lines, which were well defined then, have never changed. Our belief was and is the “sanctity of life” from coneption to natural death. This fundamental tenet of the American constitution was and is being abused.
Planned Parenthood, N.A.R.A.L., and N.O.W. have become the standard bearers of the culture of death. Babies were and are still being killed in the womb. The youth of our country are being barraged with the message that sex outside of marriage can be safe and is right. This teaching has led to an epidemic outbreak of Sexually Transmitted Diseases, many of which are incurable. The elderly are under attack by people promoting “death with dignity” (euthanasia).
We will never give up the fight until the defeat of all proposed legislation that would threaten the sanctity of life for the unborn and elderly.
It is with deep gratitude and thanks that we welcome your support.
